The SSP is a modular synth, multichannel direct to disk recorder and USB audio interface, all packaged into a 60HP eurorack module.
All inputs and outputs are capable of sending and receiving CV/audio/gate/trigger signals, with sample rates up to 192kHz and 32-bit resolution. Connect midi controllers via USB. MPE support out of the box.
Build polyphonic synths, samplers, granular and fx processors, all inside the module, right on the spot. Save time and money and get the best audio quality and most powerful DSP platform you can buy in eurorack.
New modules are constantly added as we release software updates. See SSP forum software updates.

Why is the Percussa SSP more powerful compared to other modules?
The Percussa SSP module offers the processing power of roughly 10 digital eurorack modules:
Common processors in Eurorack modules are the single core Cortex M4 and M7 processors, which at their highest clock frequencies of around 200MHz stay below 500 DMIPS. Some eurorack modules have started using more advanced processors, for example the single core Cortex A8 at 1GHz, which offers around 2,000 DMIPS of processing power.
In contrast, the quad-core ARM cortex A17 platform used in the Percussa SSP provides over 20,000 DMIPS of processing power, with its 4 cores running at 1.8GHz.
How many synth modules can I run on the Percussa SSP in parallel?
The SSP features 8 outputs and 16 inputs all at 192khz/32bit, and supports running 16 or more software DSP modules in parallel on multiple cores (until the CPU is fully occupied).
What polyphony does the SSP offer?
This depends on how many modules are active. If you have 8 modules then you can do 8 voices.
Can I record sound directly on the SSP?
Yes, there is a sampling (recording) module in the software which you can use to sample any signal and record it to disk (SD card) as a WAV file. You can then load that file into the wavetable oscillator, granular or sampler modules so you can layer them, etc.
